@ Enisgn: Never a great Elite??? dunno but I seen many top guilds running it and I seen it loads in HA...
HA is a bad place to determine if a skill is good or not. And There is no top guild that has ever used this skill, at least since the game came out.

1st this guy that started the topic is refering to FoW (which is PvE), so its not only meant towards GvG and I jsut say at which fronts I still like WoH.

2nd the question on the topic is: is WoH still a great Monk elite?

I just answered that it still is usefull, in HA or PvE... I actually have seen top guilds running WoH in GvG (or it where those noobs that just started early with GvG and managed to get to the top 100 for like 1 day...)

Yes protection Monks can catch spikes and no they don't catch spikes... They mostly 'delay' spikes with prot skills that get shattered right away and sometimes even makes it a more powerful spike... Or Grenth dervishes that just goes straight through the protection

Just by saying: WoH never was a great Elite you don't win a thread... I still use it in HA and it works fine! but for GvG its totaly different and the skill is less good there... RA/TA u really will miss the Selfheal... and AB is pretty good if you also concentrate on your 'non' partymembers, but still less effective since when you face 4 vs 4 u miss ure greater selfheal.

Would love to, but it would be unstating the author's opinion that WoH was a good elite.

It's not that WoH is a bad skill per se, it's more of Healing generally being inferior to Protection IMO. Also, ZB outclasses it...not to say you can also run Infuse along with Protection.

So, in reflection, it is because WoH is a bad skill per se...

Just to be a bugger - Treacherous Empire used this in the american championship finals game 1 anyway. I just watched it :P

I actually think that this was the best healing prayers elite in prohecies but thats not saying much since Healing Hands was the other ))))
